Are you drinking water only when you feel very thirsty? Your body may already be dehydrated. In summer, excessive sweating can lead to fluid loss, reducing blood flow to the kidneys and affecting their function.
Watch out for these signs:
• Dark yellow urine
• Burning or pain while urinating
• Persistent lower back pain
• Tiredness or dizziness
Protect your kidney health:
• Drink at least 2.5–3 litres of water daily
• Reduce salt intake
• Limit tea, coffee, and soft drinks
• Choose options like tender coconut water and buttermilk
Stay hydrated. Take care of your kidneys.
