Plantation Campaign:
On 30th August, 2024 as per the directive of the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India, extensive plantation drives were conducted across the state under the campaign which was launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on World Environment Day. At the state level, plantation drives were held in the premises of the Social Welfare Directorate and Mission Shakti Office.

State Level Training for functionaries under Women and Child Development (WCD) Control Room A series of training programmes for functionaries of the Women and Child Development (WCD) Control Room, comprising the 181-Women Helpline and 1098-Child Helpline were organized by Mission Shakti & Mission Vatsalya on 20th November 2024, at Mission Shakti Office, Kohima.
Smt. Martha R. Ritse (IAS), Secretary, Social Welfare & Mission Director, Mission Vatsalya, and Smt. Bodeno S. Colo, Additional Secretary, Social Welfare & Mission Director, Mission Shakti addressed the meeting.
