The Christmas programme “NUHRO 2025”, comprising a Public Meeting and Christmas Carol Service, was held on Friday, 19th December 2025, at 3.00 pm at the Medical College Conference Hall. The event was organized with great reverence and festive spirit, witnessing active participation from the medical mission family.
The programme began with a Carol Song and Prayer Song by the Hospital Choir, followed by a welcome address by Shri. Joy P. Jacob, Secretary & CEO, M.O.S.C Medical Mission. Lt.Col. Gracy Joseph (Retd.) had the first Bible reading.
The Presidential Address was delivered by His Grace Yuhanon Mar Polycarpos Metropolitan, Diocese of Angamali, and Vice President, M.O.S.C Medical Mission, who emphasized the true spirit of Christmas love, service, and compassion. The second Bible reading was read by Ms. Gisha Joseph.
The Christmas Message was delivered by Dr. Cyriac Thomas, Former Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, highlighting the relevance of Christ’s message of hope and peace in contemporary society. Prayers were led by Rev. Fr. Sibimon B., Assistant Chaplain, and Rev. Dn. Sibin Varghese.
The programme featured several Carol Songs by the Hospital Choir, enhancing the festive atmosphere. Awards were distributed to winners of the Bible Quiz, Poster Making, Christmas Card, and Graffiti Art competitions.
The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Rev. Fr. John Kuriakose, Chaplain
As part of the celebrations, a Christmas Carol Competition was conducted with teams from Nursing Services, Medical College, Hospital Staff, Allied Health Sciences, and College of Nursing, along with a vibrant Nativity Play. The event concluded with Prize Distribution, marking a joyful and meaningful celebration of Christmas.
