Society of Anaesthesiologist Maharashtra State(SAMS) in association with ISA Borivali Conducted and Hosted 4th YUVAMAHACON a Prestigeous Anaesthesia Congress on 2th to 4th August 2024 at GCC Hotels Mira road Mumbai.In which Yuva achievers and enthusiast in Regional Anaesthesia from all over India under age of 45yrs were invited as a Faculty.
Over 450 delegates participated from all over India.

Our SAK Programme Secretary Dr.Supriya Pawar had invited as a Faculty for preCME Regional Anaesthesia workshop and
in CME she also delivered a Talk as a Faculty on "Anaesthesia implications in Thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) and Analgesic modalities",which was well Appreciated by all..

COLS demonstration done at Athaayu Hospital, by Dr Tina Gandhi. Hands-on training given to a group of around 30 people. Trainees included nursing students, mavshis, non medical staff (accounts department, billing dept and maintenance dept.) An interactive session, where a lot of interesting discussion was done.

On 14 July Society of Anaesthesiologist Kolhapur in association with Aster Aadhar hospital and Team B'Braun Conducted workshop on " Regional Anaesthesia and POCUS" in presence of eminent Faculty Dr. Sandeep Diwan, Dr. Guruprasad and Dr. Ash*t Mehata.
For Inauguration and Lamp lightening ceremony, SAK President Dr.Sangita Patil,Director Of Aster Adhar Hospital and KMA President Dr. Kodolikar, Faculty Dr. Sandeep Diwan,Dr. Ash*t Mehata ,SAK Secretary Dr. Sachin Kumbhar and SAK Treasurer Dr.Priyanka Waghmare Joined.
MMC observer Dr. Jayant Watve was present during the scientific programme.
Dr Shobha Vatkar President of ISA Pimperi Chnichvad branch Pune City had also participated as a delegate.
Faculty and Guests were welcomed and felicitated by President Of SAK Dr.Sangita Patil. Vote of Thanks was delivered by SAK Secretary Dr. Sachin Kumbhar. Enlightening lecture on perioperative upperlimb, lumbosacral plexus and lower limb blocks conducted by Dr Sandeep Diwan which was followed by highlightened discussion clearing doubts of enthusiastic deligates. The lecture was followed by Hands on Ultrasound guided Regional Anaesthesia Workshop after lunch breack which turned out as a successful event as the renowned Faculties and delegates from Pune,Satara,Islampur Ichalakaranji and Kolhapur have actively participated.
All Delegates,Faculty,Team B'Braun appreciated The SAK Organisers for wonderful conduct and Arrangements. Felicitation of organizing Team of SAK ;President,Secretary,Treasurer,Programme Secretary n CME Secretary done by our Faculty Dr Sandeep Diwan Sir n Ash*t Mehata .SAK is thankful to Faculty, Aster Aadhar hospital ,Team B'Braun and all the delegates for turning this as a successful event due to their gracious presence.

Dear ISA Members,
ISA Kolhapur(Society of anaesthesiologists Kolhapur branch), recently scheduled a Guest lecture on "Point of care Ultrasound " by Esteemed Faculty from Gadag (karnataka)Dr Guruprasad on 14July 2024 at Hotel Maratha Regancy Kolhapur at 8:30pm.SAK President Dr Sangita Patil Felicitated the Guest.
Dr.Pravin Chavan (SAK CME Secretary) and Dr Supriya SAK( Program Secretary)moderated the session.
Lecture was informative Dr.Guruprasad nicely elaborated raising the awareness among the members about Importance of ultrasound in perioperative assessment and optimisation of the patients.30 SAK members attended and enthusiastically participated in the discussion.
Our Guest Dr.Guruprasad was honoured with momento and Certificate by SAK President Dr.Sangita Patil and other executive committee members. Vote of thanks delivered by SAK Secretary Dr.Sachin Kumbhar .

JR 1 of D.Y.Patil Medical College , Department of Anaesthesia-PG students Dr.Shivani and Dr.Darshan. helped in demonstration of BLS and Airway management.
Lectures were arranged for all Interns and UG students of Prakash medical institute. Approximately 100 participants along with faculty from other Department actively participated in demonstration.

"Doctors Day" by arranging Art exhibition and TT tbournament for all doctors at KMA hall Kolhapur. Blood Donation Camp was also held on the same day..which received great response from members
