We are excited to share another successful case in the field of Orthognathic Surgery with the support of Steroviz Digital Surgical Planning.

In this case, our team collaborated closely with Dr. Soubhik Pakhira and Dr. Anirban Raha to address a complex challenge of precise occlusion correction. Leveraging advanced 3D planning technologies, we created patient-specific anatomical models of the maxilla and mandible that provided an exact replica of the patient’s anatomy. These models were instrumental in helping the surgical team visualize the deformity and plan the correction with confidence.

Additionally, a customized occlusion splint was designed and delivered, serving as a precise intraoperative guide. This ensured accurate alignment of the jaws, streamlined the surgical workflow, and significantly reduced operating time.

We are proud to have supported Dr. Pakhira and Dr. Raha in this complex case, aligning with our mission to advance and transform surgical care through innovation.

We are pleased to share that Steroviz successfully conducted a CME program at Belle Vue Hospital focused on the latest advancements in orthopedic custom implants, 3D-printed anatomical models, and patient-specific surgical jigs for managing complex cases involving the pelvis, shoulder, knee joints, and other challenging anatomies. These cutting-edge technologies are transforming the way surgeons approach complex reconstructions by enabling accurate preoperative planning, enhancing intraoperative precision, and reducing surgical time. By offering personalized solutions, they not only simplify challenges in the operating theater but also contribute to better patient outcomes, faster recovery, and greater surgical confidence. This program provided valuable insights into how innovation is reshaping orthopedic surgery and elevating standards of patient care.

Steroviz recently supported a revision reconstruction case of decompressive craniectomy for a 41 year old male patient with Dr. G.R. Vijay Kumar, neurosurgeon, Fortis Hospital, Kolkata.

In close collaboration with Dr. Kumar, Steroviz designed a custom cranial implant that addressed the defect, reconstructed the bony contour, achieved proper fixation and soft tissue adaptation.

In Dr. Kumar's own words, "The implant fitted well. No issues. Good job."

We are delighted to play a part in supporting Dr. Kumar in this case as part of our mission to transform surgical care.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐳 recently supported the treatment of a rare benign tumor (chondromyxoid fibroma) case in the left mandibular condylar region of a 25-year-old female patient under renowned CMF surgeon Prof. Dr. Gagan Khare , President Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India Delhi NCR and Consultant Khare's Dental & Maxillofacial Clinic, Meerut.

The proposed solution was the guided resection of the condylar process and reconstruction with a patient-specific condylar implant, to address the complex indication of the patient.

In close collaboration with Prof. Dr. Khare, the Steroviz team incorporated his clinical inputs to design a 3D-printed custom prosthesis that provided a combination of implant fixation, smooth articulation, sufficient range of motion and overall implant stability within the native fossa and disc.

The patient was able to achieve a mouth opening of 40 mm post-operatively, with good medio-lateral stability, a testament to the successful planning and ex*****on of the surgery!

Along with the patient specific implant, Steroviz also provided a 3D printed surgical cutting guide for precise intra operative resection and a 3D printed anatomical model of the patient as a pre-planning reference.

In Dr. Khare’s own words, “The case went really well. PSI range of motion was good; stability was good as well…… model and guide were absolutely fine."

Steroviz Pixels was highly excited to participate in the "48th Annual Conference of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India" held in Kolkata in Dec24.

Steroviz embraced the opportunity to connect and interact with various doctors, researchers and other interested individuals from across India to expand its business horizon, and to cater wide geographical location with its end-to-end surgical planning solutions involving patient-specific implants, surgical cutting guides, anatomical models and digital surgical planning apps and services.

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐳 played a pioneering role in designing and planning a 3D printed 𝐦𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭-𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 (𝐏𝐒𝐈) of a 29-year-old male patient's for primary fracture, This groundbreaking case marks one of the 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐒𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝟒𝟖 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 from receiving the DICOM. The surgery held under CMF surgeon 𝐃𝐫. 𝐊𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐛𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐬.

The planning intends to surgical reconstruction of 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐨𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 using patient-specific implants. PSI helps to reconstruct the fractured portions of left orbital and maxillary regions. The implant's design enables precise bone adaptation using variable angle 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐱𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, The mirror-polished surface for better soft tissue adaptation and the matte finish surface for better bone adaptation and the material 𝐓𝐈𝟔𝐀𝐥𝟒𝐕 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟓 ensuring the optimal biocompatibility of the implant.
