We are proud to share a successfully completed custom femoral plate reconstruction for a patient diagnosed with osteosarcoma.

In this complex limb-salvage case, the surgical team performed oncological bone resection, followed by chemotherapy, and reused the patient’s own bone for reconstruction. To restore stability and anatomy, a patient-specific custom femoral plate was designed and manufactured based on precise 3D planning.

We’re pleased to share a recently completed case of mandibular reconstruction following tumor resection, successfully performed using a Patient-Specific Implant (PSI) designed and developed by Steroviz Pixels Pvt. Ltd.

In this case, the tumor-affected portion of the mandible was precisely resected and reconstructed with a custom-designed implant tailored to the patient’s unique anatomy. The PSI ensured accurate alignment, stable fixation, and optimal aesthetic restoration — significantly reducing surgical time and intraoperative adjustments.

At Steroviz Pixels, we recently collaborated on a complex mandibular reconstruction case using a bone graft from the iliac crest. Our custom pre-bent plate played a crucial role in achieving precise reconstruction and optimal patient outcomes. By designing the plate to fit the patient's specific anatomy, we reduced surgical time and promoted better bone healing, ultimately leading to improved functional and aesthetic results for the patient.

We are pleased to share another successful case where a 43-year-old female patient presented with a cystic lesion in the mandible. To restore both function and aesthetics after cyst resection, our team collaborated closely with Dr. Anirban Raha and Dr. Soubhik Pakhira to plan and execute a precise digital surgical reconstruction.

Using 3D surgical planning and a custom patient-specific implant, we achieved accurate anatomical restoration of the mandible. The customized design ensured adaptation to the patient’s bone contour, providing excellent fixation, stability and aesthetic balance. This case demonstrates how custom implants not only simplify complex reconstructions but also enhance surgical precision, reduce operating time, and improve overall patient outcomes.

We are excited to share another successful case in the field of Orthognathic Surgery with the support of Steroviz Digital Surgical Planning.

In this case, our team collaborated closely with Dr. Soubhik Pakhira and Dr. Anirban Raha to address a complex challenge of precise occlusion correction. Leveraging advanced 3D planning technologies, we created patient-specific anatomical models of the maxilla and mandible that provided an exact replica of the patient’s anatomy. These models were instrumental in helping the surgical team visualize the deformity and plan the correction with confidence.

Additionally, a customized occlusion splint was designed and delivered, serving as a precise intraoperative guide. This ensured accurate alignment of the jaws, streamlined the surgical workflow, and significantly reduced operating time.
