সেদিন বিশাখা কাকিমার শরীরটা হঠাৎ খারাপ হয়ে যায়। সাথে আছি-র টিম শীঘ্রই পৌঁছে যায় ওনার বাড়ি। কাকিমার এই দুর্দিনে একমাত্র পাশে ছিল সাথে আছি।

"মনের হাল ধরে থাকা পুরনো বেহালা"

দেবপ্রসাদ দত্ত ,,,,বয়স আশি ছুঁই ছুঁই তো বটেই। নিজের মতো করে ভাল থাকার সাধন হিসেবে খুঁজে নিয়েছিলেন বেহালাকে। যৌবনের সেই সঙ্গী বার্ধক্যের পড়ন্ত বেলাতেও রঙিন আলোয় ভরিয়ে রাখে কাকুর অবসরের সময়।

সাথে আছি যখন ওঁর বাড়িতে যায় খোঁজ-খবর নিতে, জেনে আসে, কাকুর বেহালার মন কেমন আছে। সুরে সুরে জবাব দেয় পুরনো সেই যন্ত্র। বলে, বেশ ভাল আছি.... আর ভাল রেখেছি শিল্পীকেও।

সাথে আছি-র সঙ্গে প্রায় সাত বছর যুক্ত দেবপ্রসাদ কাকু। আমরা ওঁর মতো এক জন শিল্পীর সাহচর্য্য পেয়ে, ওঁর পরিবারের পাশে থাকতে পেরে কৃতজ্ঞ।
