You : I don't wanna go to therapy
Do you know what YOBOH has to say to that?

Wait, let's first read through what happens to our LOVED ONES when you avoid your mental health.

Having terrible mental health can significantly affect not only the individual but also those around them—family, friends, coworkers, and others in their social circle. Here are some ways it can impact others:

1. Emotional Strain: Loved ones may feel helpless, anxious, or constantly worried. They may not know how to support the person or may feel overwhelmed by the intensity of their emotions or behaviors.

2. Communication Breakdowns: People with poor mental health may become withdrawn, irritable, or aggressive. This can lead to misunderstandings, conflicts, or feelings of rejection in relationships.

3. Caretaker Fatigue: Those who take on a caregiving role may experience burnout, especially if they lack support or respite. This can affect their own mental and physical well-being.

4. Changes in Family Dynamics: Roles may shift. For example, children may take on more responsibilities, or one partner in a relationship may feel more like a caretaker than an equal.

5. Social Isolation: Friends and family might distance themselves, either because they don’t understand mental health issues or because they feel emotionally exhausted.

6. Financial Strain: If mental health problems affect employment or lead to the need for treatment, this can place financial pressure on households.

7. Ripple Effect on Kids: Children growing up around unmanaged mental illness may experience confusion, anxiety, or even develop mental health challenges themselves.

Despite these effects, it's important to remember that support, education, and healthy boundaries can make a huge difference. Recovery is possible, and relationships can improve with the right care and communication.

💜

So,
If not for yourself, atleast go for the ones you love!

Why do I feel this way at work?

Work anxiety, also known as workplace anxiety or occupational anxiety, is a type of anxiety disorder characterized by excessive worry, fear, or stress specifically related to one's job or work environment. It can manifest in various ways, such as physical symptoms, behavioral changes, and emotional distress.

Symptoms of Work Anxiety:

° Physical:
Feeling physically ill when thinking about work, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, digestive issues, and increased heart rate.

° Emotional:
Constant worry, dread, feeling overwhelmed, irritability, and difficulty concentrating.

° Behavioral:
Avoiding work-related tasks or events, procrastination, increased mistakes, and difficulty communicating.

✓ Causes of Work Anxiety:

° Work-related: Heavy workload, tight deadlines, job insecurity, interpersonal conflicts, and performance expectations.

° Personal: Imposter syndrome, lack of a sense of purpose, and difficult relationships with colleagues or supervisors.

° Environmental: A toxic work culture, lack of control, and poor work conditions.
Managing Work Anxiety:

✓ Identify Triggers: Recognize the specific situations or factors that trigger your anxiety.

✓ When to Seek Professional Help:
If work anxiety is significantly impacting your well-being, productivity, or ability to function, it's important to seek professional help. A therapist or counselor can provide guidance, support, and treatment options, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
