Everyone deserves love. Surely. But what if you don't get what you deserve? What if all the sadness comes crushing over you and you feel like you're all alone? It gets heavy.

Being nice and kind doesn't cost anything, but some of us receive do wrong for an extra bait of sadistic pleasures. The pleasure they get when they hurt someone is what keeps them living. What we need to understand is how it affects the victims of these harmful acts. People can get really harsh sometimes, which may lead to failed relationships.

Failed relationships are just like a curse; be it with your parents, your spouse, your sibling, a friend or a relative. It hurts more when it comes from someone you've loved and cared about. The pain can be unimaginable. It may seem like the world is crashing down on your tired and aching shoulders. Everything comes breaking down upon you and it eventually leads to overthinking, depression and sometimes, suicidal thoughts. And even if not suicidal, the person loses grip on all the hopes. That is one of the worst things to happen to a person. When you feel like there is no hope, the purpose of life is lost, and the courage to go on is not in vicinity.

An abusive relationship leaves wounds that never heal. People say that wounds heal with time, but they do not. We just find new things that keep distracting us from those wounds every once in a while, but they resurface every now and then. And, you find yourself caught in that endless loop again, repeating the cycle. That is when you need to remind yourself to embrace your own path and to go on for your own purpose. For no one else. Just for your own self. It's your life.

Life is all about keeping that hope alive. As long as you're living, there is hope for a better tomorrow. There is always hope for a light at the end of the tunnel. You just need to find that within yourself. Find the will to survive. Find that hope. You never know when life will surprise you. :-)
