"সোশ্যাল মিডিয়া vs টেথোস্কোপ"

কি হবে যদি আজ এমন একটা ক্যারিয়ারকে আকর্ষণীয় দেখায়, যা তোমাকে আগামীকাল সংগ্রাম করতে বাধ্য করবে?

দুই বন্ধু দুটো ভিন্ন পথ বাঁচলো। একজন সামাজিক মিডিয়ার স্পটলাইট বেছে নিয়েছে খ্যাতি আর অ্যাডভেঞ্চার তাড়া করে। আরেক জন স্বাস্থ্য পরিষেবায় এক শান্ত, সুশৃঙ্খল রাস্তা।
প্রথম দৃষ্টিতে সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যমের জীবন ছিল স্বপ্নের মতো – যাত্রা, প্রভাব বিস্তারকারীদের সঙ্গে দেখা, ছবি তোলার মতো মুহূর্ত। কিন্তু ভূ-পৃষ্ঠের নিচে সবকিছু এত নিখুঁত ছিল না।

শুরুতে, কনটেন্ট ক্রিয়েটারের জীবন ছিল রোমাঞ্চকর -ব্র্যান্ড ডিল, দ্রুত নগদ অর্থ এবং পছন্দও অনুসারী বৃদ্ধি দেখার রোমাঞ্চ। প্রত্যেক দিনই ছিল নতুন নতুন অভিযান – নতুন মানুষ, নতুন জায়গা, নতুন গল্প। কিন্তু এখানে একটি বিষয় রয়েছে: যখন এই আকর্ষণ কমে যায়, তখন কি ঘটে?

এক বছর পর, বাস্তবতা কঠিন হয়ে পড়ে। অ্যালগরিদম পরিবর্তিত হয়, স্পন্সরশীপ আশা বন্ধ হয়ে যায় আর একসময়কার সামাজিক মিডিয়া ক্যারিয়ার চাপপূর্ণ হয়ে ওঠে। কোন ব্যালেন্স চেক নেই, কোন কাজের নিরাপত্তা নেই, আর কোন পরিষ্কার ভবিষ্যৎ নেই। প্রাসঙ্গিক থাকার চাপ ছিল নিরন্তর-আর যখন মতামত আসা বন্ধ হয়ে গেল, তখন সেই টাকাও কামানো বন্ধ হয়।

এরই মধ্যে আরেক বন্ধু ডায়ালাইসিস টেকনিশিয়ান হওয়ার জন্য প্যারামেডিক্যাল কোর্স করেন। এটায় গ্ল্যামার ছিল না। কাজটা সহজ ছিল না। দীর্ঘ সময় ধরে পড়াশোনা, অবৈতনিক প্রশিক্ষণ এবং অফুরন্ত প্রযুক্তিগত বিবরণ। প্রথমে মনে হয়েছিল, তার সোশ্যাল মিডিয়া বন্ধু স্বপ্নে বেঁচে আছে। কিন্তু এখানে একটা টুইস্ট রয়েছে : ধীরে ধীরে এবং স্থিরভাবে দৌড়ের জয় নিশ্চিত।

মাত্র কয়েক মাসের মধ্যেই তিনি শিক্ষানবিশ হিসেবে কাজ শুরু করেন। প্রতিদিন তিনি ব্যবহারিক দক্ষতা গড়ে তুলেছিলেন, যা লোকেদের সবসময় প্রয়োজন হবে। এক বছর পর, তিনি ট্রেন্ড অনুসরণ করেননি – তিনি ভবিষ্যৎ গড়ে তুলছেন। স্থায়ী আয়, কেরিয়ারে বৃদ্ধি এবং তার দক্ষতা জানার নিরাপত্তার সবসময়ই চাহিদা থাকবে।

অবশ্যই কিছু মানুষ সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যমে সোনা জেতে- কিন্তু বেশির ভাগ ক্ষেত্রেই এটি একটি অনিশ্চিত, ক্লান্তিকর পথ, যার দীর্ঘমেয়াদি সাফল্যের কোনও নিশ্চয়তা নেই। অন্যদিকে, স্বাস্থ্যসেবার মত ক্ষেত্রগুলিতে, ক্যারিয়ারের প্রকৃত নিরাপত্তা প্রদান করে।

আপনি যদি ১২ পাস করে ক্যারিয়ার গঠনের একটি সন্ধিক্ষণে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকেন, তাহলে নিজেকে জিজ্ঞাসা করুন: আপনি কি অস্থায়ী খ্যাতি নাকি স্থায়ী কর্মজীবন চান?

সব আকর্ষণীয় পছন্দ সঠিক আর স্থায়ী হয় না।
