Hi, it’s meâ€Ļ the humble white chickpea. Yeah, that little round fellow you often toss aside while chasing paneer, chicken, or fancy quinoa. Do you even know how long I’ve been waiting for you to notice me? 😒

Let me confess something – I’ve been silently watching you ignore me while I sit there in your salad, curry, or chaat. And I’m like:

👉 “Bro, I literally help you lose weight by controlling your cravings. Do you even realize how much junk food I save you from?”

👉 “Sis, your brain loves me! I’m packed with iron and B-vitamins. That focus you needed for work? Yep, me.”

👉 “And hello? Your heart? I protect it with magnesium and potassium. But nooo, you only remember me when it’s time for Sunday chhole-bhature.” 😩

👉 “Oh, did I mention I’m loaded with fiber? I keep your tummy happy while you keep blaming pizza for ‘bad digestion’.”

👉 “Plus, I fight free radicals like a Marvel superhero—antioxidants, baby!” đŸĻ¸

👉 “And don’t even get me started on protein. Muscles, repair, growth—who do you think does the behind-the-scenes work? Me!”

Yet, despite all this, people treat me like I’m some background actor in the movie of your meals. No spotlight. No love. Justâ€Ļ ignored. 💔

So, here I am making my confession:
I’m the underrated hero of your diet.
Stop sleeping on me. Eat me, love me, respect me.
