Our Child Development Centre held a special session for parents on the topic Early Years of Life Long Impact. The goal was to help parents understand why a child's first few years are the most important.Dr.Meera ,Consultant, Developmental Pediatrician explained how early growth shapes a child's brain and feelings, laying the foundation for their entire future. കഴിഞ്ഞ ഞായറാഴ്ച കൊല്ലം കാപ്പിൽ ബീച്ചിൽ സർഫിങ് പരിശീലനത്തിനിടയിൽ തിരമാലയിൽ പെട്ട് നട്ടെല്ല് ഇടിച്ചു കരയിലേക്ക് വീഴുകയായിരുന്നു സ്പെയിൻ പൗരനായ Diego Cabina Ferro . വീഴചയുടെ ആഘാതത്തിൽ കാലുകുത്തി നിൽക്കുവാനോ നടക്കുവാനോ സാധിക്കാതെ വന്നതിനെ തുടർന്ന് പെട്ടെന്ന് തന്നെ ആംബുലൻസ് മാർഗ്ഗം ക്യാഷലിറ്റിയിൽ എത്തിക്കുകയും പ്രഥമസുശ്രൂഷക്ക് ശേഷം ഡോ.അഖിൽ സുനിൽ (കൺസൾറ്റൻറ് ബ്രെയിൻ & സ്പൈൻ സര്ജന് ) ഇന്റെ നിർദ്ദേശപ്രകാരം രോഗിയെ CT ,MRI സ്കാനിങ്ങിനു വിധേയൻ ആക്കുകയും MRI സ്കാനിൽ നട്ടെലിനു ഗുരുതര പരുക്കുണ്ടെന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തുകയും,നട്ടെല്ലിന് അടിയന്തര ശസ്ത്രക്രിയ നിർദ്ദേശിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
രോഗിയുടെ ബന്ധുക്കൾ സ്പെയിനിലെ വിദഗ്ധ ഡോക്ടർമാരുമായി ചർച്ച നടത്തുകയും തുടർന്ന് ശസ്ത്രക്രിയയാണ് ഏക പോംവഴിയെന്ന നിഗമനത്തിൽ എത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു, തുടർന്ന് ഡോ.അഖിൽ സുനിൽ (കൺസൾറ്റൻറ് ബ്രെയിൻ & സ്പൈൻ സര്ജന്) ഇന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ പൊട്ടി പൊടിഞ്ഞിരുന്ന നെട്ടേലിനെ ഒന്നര സെന്റിമീറ്റർ മാത്രമുള്ള ചെറിയ കീഹോൾ മുറിവിലൂടെ (മിനിമലി ഇൻവേസീവ്) 6
സ്ക്രൂ ഇട്ട് പൂരവ്വസ്ഥിയിലേക്ക് ആക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു,ശസ്ത്രക്രിയക്ക് ശേഷം രണ്ടാമത്തെ ദിവസം മുതൽ രോഗി നടക്കുവാൻ തുടങ്ങി.
6 മണിക്കൂർ നീണ്ടുനിന്ന ശസ്ത്രക്രിയയിൽ അനസ്തേഷ്യ വിഭാഗം ഡോ.ദേവിക ആൻഡ് ടീം ,റേഡിയോളജി വിഭാഗം ,ഡോ.ബബിത ആൻഡ് ടീമും ഈ ശസ്ത്രക്രിയയുടെ ഭാഗമായിരുന്നു.കൂടാതെ OT യിലെ സ്റ്റാഫുകൾ,റേഡിയോളജി ടെക്നീഷ്യന്മാർ,ന്യൂറോ സർജറി ICU യിലെ നഴ്സിംഗ് സ്റ്റാഫുകളും രോഗിയുടെ പരിചരണത്തിൽ മുഖ്യപങ്ക് വഹിച്ചു.

ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട കൊല്ലം എം.പി ശ്രീ. എൻ.കെ. പ്രേമചന്ദ്രൻ ആശുപത്രി സന്ദർശിച്ച് രോഗിയുടെ സുഖവിവരങ്ങൾ അന്വേഷിക്കുകയും മെഡിസിറ്റിയിലെ മെഡിക്കൽ ടീമിനെ അഭിനന്ദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
