Registered under Society Registration Act 1860, SJKS has been working since 1987, and has emerged as a forerunner in working for the cause of the poor and deprived community, specially women and girls in the rural and semi-urban areas. We work, primarily, in the most challenging ravines and remote areas where people are live below poverty line due to lack of skill & knowledge. We are strive to empower the community by promoting education, environment, health and livelihood in the districts of Jalaun & Jhansi of Bundelkhand(U.P.). 14 organizations, in the Bundelkhand and Vindhya region, with a similar ideology are associated to us. These organizations are working in 14 different districts on the issue of women farmers economic development and social justice. They are working on the issue with other CSOs, CBOs and local institutions. The organization has a multi-disciplinary team comprising social scientists, issue specialists (gender, environment, agriculture, health and livelihood), program planners and volunteers. The entire team is committed towards bringing change in the lives of the marginalized & poor by enhancing knowledge and acting for their capacity building.

✨ Constitution Day 2025 ✨

Today we celebrated freedom. We celebrated rights. We celebrated the equal opportunities that our Constitution upholds for all of us, and the spirit that keeps us working towards an inclusive society. 🇮🇳

The youth who have been learning and growing with us over the past year brought the celebration alive in their own beautiful ways..
🎭 some through acting,
💃 some through dance,
🎤 some with powerful speeches and songs,
🎨 others with creative posters,
🏐 and some with an energetic volleyball match

In the end, we all came together to read the our Preamble and take an oath to continue working towards an equal, fair, and compassionate society. ❤️

Here’s to shaping a future where every voice matters. 🇮🇳✨

पुराने प्रेरणा गीतों की आवाज़ फिर से गूँज उठी । वैसे तो मार्च का महीना हमेशा नयी ऊर्जा के साथ आता है, इस बार पुराने साथियों के साथ नयी शुरुआत और नया विश्वास लेकर आया है । 🌻
