Dr. Ajay Shesh is a medical doctor from the small town of Korba in Chhattisgarh. He started his carrier as a Pathologist and was very successful in it yet always found an emptiness in the symptom based Allopathic treatment. He became tired of working as a disease worker and wanted to promote holistic health, especially among the youth.
Being a motivational speaker by his natural strengths, he decided to first secure world class achievements himself to set a great self-example among the youth which he wanted to transform. So he went for, and created a Guinness world record for longest marathon speech of 49 hrs and 39 minutes. He further broke his own record to create a new Guinness record of 60 Hrs and 29 minutes of nonstop speech. He started a youth empowerment project called "Ajeya Bharat Prakalp" and now motivates the youth towards right thinking, skill building and carrier/health guidance.
He is presently visiting 100 colleges and youth associations of Chhattisgarh, India which will be followed by 100 colleges of the country, and later 100 colleges of the world. In Nov-Dec 2016, he organized a 2166 km long youth empowerment cycle rally from Raipur to New Delhi to create awareness among youth through 50 life changing seminars in 35 cities. He has been awarded with "Chhattisgarh Bhushan" award and "Rashtriya Sewa Ratna" National award for his achievements in the field of youth empowerment. The cycle rally too got an entry into the "Golden Book of World Records".
After all these distinctions and three world records he firmly believes in following one's heart to choose a vocation and line of work - no matter what your initial profession has been - no matter how small a place you live in. Dr Ajay Shesh is a shining example of a small town doctor following his heart and sacrificing his lucrative medical profession for his heartfelt motive of Youth empowerment - and hugely excelling in it. His life's dream is to become the President of this great country purely on merit, on the lines of President APJ Abdul Kalam.
His education too continues - having completed his MBA in Marketing and MPhil in Management after his MBBS and MD in Pathology. He is presently doing research fellowship for his Ph.D in Management from Dr. CV Raman University. A TRIBUTE TO PRATYUSHA BANNERJI

Dear Pratyusha –

I was your fan – you were so beautiful and talented. I didn’t know you personally, but I do know that to achieve even 50% of fame and love which you achieved in your young life, most youngsters would readily make far greater sacrifices in life.

Life is nothing but a series of challenges. The issue is not of a guy called Rahul, but a mismatched relationship which teaches us far more about life and people than successful relationships. I am not interested in the personal details of your so called fights but I am bothered that you let them weaken you rather than toughen you. He was probably in your life to grant you some much needed lessons which would have made you stronger, more confident and even more successful.

This was not your first challenge of life. Neither was it your last. But you took a step which now means great losses to everyone including your fans and youngsters whom you had, ironically inspired so much.

It breaks my heart to learn that you were only 23. That’s too young to take such a humongous decision – of dying!!! I strongly suggest to all readers of this blog to have close friends outside your industry too – who can give you a new, different, unbiased and better perspective towards life and profession, just as you can towards theirs. I have observed that when two people from same profession talk, they mostly talk only the negatives.

I understand that I had not undergone the circumstances you were in when you decided to end it all and so I may not understand your actual pain. But I am sure as hell – had you talked to your mom or any friend outside the industry – you would have been shooting right now – beautiful and graceful as ever.

Your friends from the TV industry are supporting you and may be the perpetrator will be punished if - and that is a big “if” – guilt is “proven” in the court of law. But to what end now? It’s all over. Its show business and the “show must go on”. Eventually all will get back to their work and livelihoods and their own struggles, leaving the deceased to the status of a footnote in a page of their lives. You were much more than a footnote. I’m not denouncing your pain and your life but alas – you yourself denounced it…

My heart goes out to your parents. While the world will quickly move on to enjoy other stories and scandals, other juicy gossips and paid media hypes – your parents are resigned to their grief for the rest of their lives. The phone calls will die down, sympathies gradually will become sparse. Opposing forces will frame you Pratyusha, on baseless charges and tasteless gossip, channels will foresee TRPs - while you won’t be there to defend yourself.

I don’t denounce the intensions and emotions of the people supporting you. They are well intentioned and shocked, and rightly so. But the irreplaceable damage is done. The only silver lining is that may be a few aspiring starlets will learn some “Dos and Donts” from your tragic example.

I am reminded of a quote by C.S. Lewis – “The most beautiful people are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of the depths. These persons have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep loving concern. Beautiful people do not just happen.”

But pain insists upon being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains: it is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world.

You entertained us all Pratyusha - as the innocent Balika Vadhu and other characters you played on the small screen. You enchanted us with your histrionics and beauty. Thanks for giving smiles and hopes to so many, thanks for your art and performances. We all mourn your death.

I just wish this would have continued much-much long, longer into the future.
