, commonly called black fungus, is a rare but serious fungal infection caused by a kind of fungus called mucormycete, which is abundant in the environment. It mainly affects people who have health problems or take medicines that lower the body’s ability to fight germs and sickness.

Signs /Symptoms
Warning signs include pain and redness around the eyes or nose, with fever, headache, coughing, shortness of breath, bloody vomits, and altered mental status. According to the advisory, infection with mucormycetes should be suspected when there is:
* Sinusitis — nasal blockade or congestion, nasal discharge (blackish/bloody);
* Local pain on the cheek bone, one-sided facial pain, numbness or swelling;
* Blackish discoloration over bridge of nose/palate;
* Loosening of teeth, jaw involvement;
* Blurred or double vision with pain;
* Thrombosis, necrosis, skin lesion;
* Chest pain, pleural effusion, worsening of respiratory symptoms.

How can you mucormycosis /Black Fungus among covid-recovered people?

1.Keep blood sugar under check whether covid or non covid
2. Use steroids judicially while treating covid
3. Use clean water in humidifier used for oxygen support.
4. Maintain overall cleanness around patients
5. Any oral ulcer should be treated immediatedly.

The first step in treating mucormycosis are receiving intravenous (IV) antifungal medications and having surgical debridement. Surgical debridement involves cutting away all infected tissue.
If you respond well to IV therapy and tissue removal, your doctor will likely remove your IV and give you oral medications to take.

#होम्योपैथी_डेवलपमेन्ट_एसोसिएशन ( #एचडीए) द्वारा राज्य भर में चल रहे #होम्योपैथी_स्वास्थ्य_जन_जागरूकता_अभियान के तहत आज कोटा में स्वायत एवं शासन विभाग मंत्री #श्री_शान्ति_धारीवाल_जी द्वारा पोस्टर विमोचन कर #कोटा में #होम्योपैथी डॉक्टर्स द्वारा विभिन्न जगहों पर चल रहे नि:शुल्क चिकित्सा शिविरों हेतू प्रोत्साहित किया। डॉ सनी दयाल ने बताया कि मंत्री जी द्वारा पोस्टर विमोचन करने से कोटा के सभी डॉक्टर्स में एक नव ऊर्जा का संचार होगा एवं अभियान को और अधिक सक्रियता के साथ आगे बढ़ाया जायेगा। डॉ सुरेंद्र मीना ने बताया कि अब तक कोटा में विभिन्न जगहों पर नि:शुल्क चिकित्सा शिविरों का आयोजन कर करीब 1000 मरीजों को होम्योपैथी पद्धति से लाभान्वित किया जा चुका हैं।
डॉ दीपक मीना ने बताया कि होम्योपैथी इतिहास में #एचडीए द्वारा प्रथम बार एक माह के #होम्योपैथी_स्वास्थ्य_जन_जागरूकता_अभियान की सकारात्मक पहल की गयी हैं, जिसका शुभारम्भ राजस्थान मुख्यमंत्री श्री अशोक जी गहलोत एवं चिकित्सा मंत्री डॉ रघु जी शर्मा द्वारा बैनर एवं पोस्टर विमोचन के माध्यम से की गयी थी। जिसके तहत विभिन्न जगह पर चिकित्सा शिविर आयोजित कर आम जन को होम्योपैथिक चिकित्सा पद्धति से लाभान्वित एवं जागरूक किया जा रहा हैं।
