Suvaidya is a brand of PKMM HEALTH CARE. The representative of our ancestor from which we have inherited efficiency in the field of Ayurveda. The heritage started in 1923 from Manafi’ul Insan Vaidyasala which was established by Poozhikkal Kunjahammed Musliyar who was a well known physician in Edarikkode and surrounding villages. He was not only a physician but also a social worker who started 4 primary schools. After his demise his sons Dr. Poozhikkal Ibrahim Haji and Dr. Poozhikkal Hussain took the charges respectively. Both of them worked as Medical Officer in Government service.
After the demise of Dr. P Hussain, his son, Dr. Poozhikkal Srajudheen took the charge as Medical Director of the institution. He started two more clinics at Klari South and at Iringavoor. The I P facilities in all these centres were united by him under an umbrella and named as Dr P Hussain’s PKMM Ayurvedic Hospital. In the running time a small manufacturing unit to cater the needs of the patients is also started by him at Edarikkode.
