🔹 ٹِکس کیا ہوتے ہیں؟
1. موٹر ٹِکس (Motor tics)
آنکھ جھپکانا
سر ہلانا
کندھے اچکانا
2. ووکل ٹِکس (Vocal tics)
گلا صاف کرنا
کھانسنا یا آواز نکالنا
الفاظ دہرانا
🔹 اہم خصوصیات
عموماً بچپن (5–10 سال) میں شروع ہوتا ہے
ٹِکس آتے جاتے رہتے ہیں
اسٹریس یا گھبراہٹ میں بڑھ جاتے ہیں
بچہ اکثر جانتا ہے مگر روکنا مشکل ہوتا ہے
ذہانت عام طور پر نارمل ہوتی ہے

In compliance with the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s directions regarding the safeguarding of the mental well-being of students, the District Mental Health Unit (DMHU), District Hospital Kulgam in collaboration with Department of education district kulgam under the supervision of the CMO kulgam and CEO kulgam organized mental health awareness programme at Target Neet kulgam today on 07.02.2026.

The programmes focused on promoting mental well-being among students, early identification of stress and emotional difficulties, coping strategies, and information about available mental health support services under the District Mental Health Programme (DMHP).

The resource persons for the programme were Mr. Irshad Ahmad Psychologist, and Mr. Saleem Yousf, Psychiatric Social Worker.

Implementation of the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s Directions on Safeguarding the Mental Well-Being of Students

In compliance with the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s directions regarding the safeguarding of the mental well-being of students, the District Mental Health Unit (DMHU), District Hospital Kulgam in collaboration with Department of education district kulgam under the supervision of the Medical Superintendent, DH Kulgam Dr. Syed Masood and CEO kulgam organized mental health awareness programmes on 02.02.2026.

The awareness programmes were conducted at the following educational institutions:

Imperial Coaching Institute, Kulgam
Vales Line Coaching, Kulgam

Bright Future Institute, Nehama, Kulgam

The programmes focused on promoting mental well-being among students, early identification of stress and emotional difficulties, coping strategies, and information about available mental health support services under the District Mental Health Programme (DMHP).
