Anuja Mary Thomas is a Psychologist and Expressive Arts Therapist who is working full time as project coordinator at Voluntary Organisation for Social Justice and Rural Development (VOSARD) Kumily, Idukki. She was working on a project titled 'Enhancing Quality of Life of Senior Citizens to meet the Emerging Challenges of Old Age Through Community-Based Rehabilitation Strategy in Kattappana region of Idukki district, Kerala, India. Anuja is specialized in using Expressive Arts Therapy (Diploma in Expressive Arts Therapy) from East West Center for Counselling & Indian institute of psychodrama, Chennai. She completed her masters in Applied psychology from Women's Christian College Chennai and Bachelors in psychology from Kuriakose Elias College Mannanam, Kottayam. She has also been an online educator associated with Unacademy platform. She has also been one among the four translators of the book 'DISASTERSHOCK, How to Cope with the Emotional Stress of a Major Disaster'. Anuja is also an experienced Trainer in conducting online and offline sessions for various categories of the population. Anuja has been working associated with CHILDLINE India Foundation Kumily Sub-center & Family Counselling Center, Kumily.

Had this wonderful opportunity to meet the students and parents of GHSS Kallar for a one day training program in association with Souhrida Club.

Trainings were conducted for 200 plus one students on the topic Mental Health in adolescents and the forenoon session was done for Parents on Effective Parenting Strategies.

The sessions were fruitful and interactive.
