Homeopathy has a great history of use in epidemics. When Hahneman, the founder of homeopathy, discovered how effective it could be during a scarlet fever epidemic 200 years ago, to the recent near eradication of Japanese encephalitis in Andhra Pradesh, India. Even today homeopathy is being used as a tool to strengthen immune systems at a government level. Cuba is now using homeopathy as a preventative against viruses, you can read more about it here, as is India, with particular success in Kerala.

Anticovid, the open access platform which gathers all available information regarding global clinical trials for SARS-CoV 2, lists ten clinical trials assessing the potential of homeopathy in the treatment and prevention of Covid-19 symptoms. Some of them are observational, and others are controlled, randomized, and double-blind. The ten clinical trials are being conducted in Brazil, China, Cuba, India, and Iran.
