The Department of Community Medicine, Adesh Medical College & Hospital, Mohri, conducted an interactive HIV/AIDS awareness programme for truck drivers, mechanics, labourers and transport staff with the support of Mr. Sanjay Narwal (Sant Roadline Transport).

👨‍⚕️ Health talks by Dr. Monu Dalal (Senior Resident) and Dr. Vijay Vivek Sharma (PG Final Year) covered:
✔ HIV transmission & prevention
✔ High-risk behaviours
✔ Myths vs. facts
✔ ICTC/ART services at AMCH Mohri & SDH Shahabad

Participants actively engaged in discussions, clarified doubts, and received on-spot health consultations.

AMBALA – The Department of Respiratory Medicine at Adesh Medical College marked World COPD Day 2025 with an impactful awareness programme centered on the theme “Short of Breath, Think COPD.” The event brought together faculty and students to highlight the rising burden of COPD and the importance of early diagnosis. 🫁✨

Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Navdeep Singh and coordinated by Dr. Nitin Tangri, Head of Respiratory Medicine, the programme featured a symposium, expert discussions, and a vibrant poster competition. 🎤📚

Dr. Navdeep Singh, Lamba (Principal) Adesh Mediacal College- in his address, emphasized the importance of early COPD recognition and expressed concern about rising va**ng trends among youth, urging everyone to take persistent breathlessness seriously. 🚭⚠️

The patient had earlier been referred by several major hospitals due to the high surgical risk

A 60-year-old gentleman arrived at Adesh Hospital with acute chest pain. Imaging revealed a large, partially thrombosed aneurysm 🩸 in the descending thoracic aorta — a life-threatening condition requiring urgent intervention.
