Divine Celebration of the 556th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Adesh Hospital✨

Today, the campus of Adesh was blessed with divine grace as we celebrated the 556th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism and the eternal light of truth, compassion, and humility. 🌸

The entire Adesh family came together in reverence and devotion to honor the sacred teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji — teachings that guide us to live a life filled with Naam Simran, Seva, and Sarbat da Bhala (well-being of all). 🙏

The highlight of the celebration was a Soulful Kirtan Darbar by the renowned Bhai Joginder Singh Riar Ji, whose melodious Gurbani Kirtan touched every heart and soul. 🎶 From 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, the atmosphere resonated with the divine sound of shabads, spreading peace, unity, and spiritual joy. 💫

We were deeply honored by the gracious presence of our esteemed dignitaries — Honourable Chairman Sir Dr. Harinder Singh Gill, Mrs Kamaldeep Kaur general secretary, Dr Gurpreet Singh gill director Adesh university bathinda, Dr. Guntas Singh Gill (Director, Admin), Er. A Triumph of Teamwork & Timely Care! 🌟

This female patient, who had undergone a cholecystectomy at Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantt, developed a cardiac event post-surgery. 💔
Prompt CPR and emergency cardiac medications saved her life, but soon after, she faced sudden and severe breathing distress, unable to maintain oxygen levels even with oxygen support. 😷

She was referred to a higher center in Chandigarh, but her family chose Adesh Medical College & Hospital, Mohri for further management. 🏥

Upon arrival at our Emergency Department, the patient was immediately evaluated by the Department of Respiratory Medicine and shifted to the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU). There, she received non-invasive ventilatory support, advanced respiratory care, and multidisciplinary treatment. 💨👩‍⚕👨‍⚕

✨ With timely intervention, expert teamwork, and compassionate care, the patient made a remarkable recovery and was discharged within five days, breathing comfortably on room air. 💪🌸

🌿 World Mental Health Day Celebration at Adesh Medical College & Hospital, Mohri 🌍

The Department of Psychiatry, under the supervision of Dr. Tanu Kundal (HOD), organized an awareness program highlighting mental health problems emerging after emergencies and catastrophes.

The event featured:

⿢ Poster Making Competition among MBBS students of different batches
⿣ Mental Health Talk by Principal Lt. Gen. (Dr.) N.S. Lamba Sir, who shared valuable insights and honored the winners with certificates and trophies 🏆

🌟 Miracle Triplets – From Fragile Beginnings to Healthy Smiles 🌟

Mother Neelam who delivered at just 8th month gestation (32 weeks), brought three precious blessings into the world. Born prematurely with weights of 1kg, 1.3kg, and 1.5kg, the triplets faced serious health challenges from the very beginning. Critically ill, they required intensive neonatal care including surfactant therapy, ventilation, antibiotics, feeding supervision, and vital supplements. Their early journey was filled with uncertainty, but with the tireless efforts and round-the-clock monitoring of the Neonatology & Pediatrics Department, Adesh Medical College & Hospital, the babies showed remarkable resilience.

After nearly two months of specialized NICU care, these tiny fighters were finally discharged in stable condition. Today, on follow-up, all three babies are thriving, spreading joy, and bringing hope to everyone who witnessed their journey. 🌈👶💖

Healing the Healers through Yoga & Inner Peace

Adesh Medical College & Hospital successfully concluded a 4-day Stress Management Workshop – “Healing the Healers through Siddharth Dhyan Yoga”, organized in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Yoga & Management (IIYM).

✨ 75+ doctors and staff participated in the transformative sessions conceptualized by Samarthguru Siddharth Aulia Ji, learning yogic practices like the deep vibrational energy of Onkar (Anhad Naad) for stress relief and inner calm.

Guided by Col. Anutosh Sharma, Mrs. Sunjila Arneja & Dr. Naresh Jyoti, participants experienced holistic techniques for balancing mind, body & soul.
