Lakulish Institute of Yoga Lakulish Institute of Yoga was established in 1976 with the objective of contributing to human well-being by way of teaching yoga and yogic ways of life.

This Institute was established in 1976 by late Swami Kripalvanandji with the objective of contributing to human well-being by way of inculcating and propagating yogic ideas and yogic ways of life all over the world. It aims at offering yoga education and providing facilities for research in the field of yoga. It is a non-profiling, non-sectarian and internationally known Institute. It provides yogic training to all aspirants regardless of their gender, caste, creed, race, religion or nationality. This institution was graced by the divine incarnation – Lord Lakulish and incorporates the principles of Divine Yoga. Swami Kripalvanandji and his chief disciple and now spiritual successor Swami Rajarshi Muni, spent much of their time in secluded sadhana. Swami Rajarshi Muni is Self-Realized Yogi and Master of Kechari Mudra. Swami Rajarshi Muni is the founder of LIFE Mission, a Public Service Organization and Charitable Trust, in 1993 and Lakulish Yoga University, established in 2013. Lakulish Institute of Yoga has four decades of experience in yoga research, teaching and training, first under the aegis of the Kayavarohan Tirtha Seva Samaj and thereafter under the aegis of the Life Mission. Over this period it has regularly catered to the training and learning needs of thousands of persons without distinction of race, creed, caste, nationality or gender. Over the period 1976-2016 the Institute has conducted more than 2,367 yoga training programs covering over 200,000 participants. Training has been conducted chiefly at either Malav or Kayavarohan Ashram set up by Lt. Swami Kripalvanand but also in other towns and villages. Typically, participants have come from several states of India (Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Hariyana, Punjab, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Kerala,) and from abroad (USA, Canada, UK, China, France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Greece, Israel, Russia, Iceland, Australia, Egypt, Taiwan and Guiana).
