Intermittent Esotropia क्या होता है? (Short & Clear)

Intermittent Esotropia एक type का squint (strabismus) है जिसमें
कभी-कभी (intermittent)
एक आँख अंदर की तरफ मुड़ जाती है (esotropia),
और बाकी समय आँखें बिल्कुल normal रहती हैं।

यानि squint permanent नहीं होता, situation के हिसाब से आता-जाता है।

Common Symptoms

एक आँख का अंदर की तरफ drift होना — कभी-कभी

बच्चे आँख मिचकाते हैं या एक आँख बंद करके देखते हैं

distance देखने पर deviation ज़्यादा दिखता है

double vision (कभी-कभी)

headaches या eye strain

Causes

refractive error — खासतौर पर uncorrected hyperopia (Plus नंबर)

weak fusional reserves

fatigue, stress या bright light में deviation ज़्यादा दिखना

congenital tendency

Treatment (Short)

Corrective glasses (अगर hyperopia हो तो सबसे जरूरी)

Patching therapy

Vision therapy / Orthoptics

अगर deviation ज़्यादा है या control कम है → strabismus surgery
