* Sciatica pain is caused by an irritation, inflammation, pinching or compression of a nerve in the lower back.
* Sciatica occurs when one or more nerve roots from L4 to S3 are irritated or compressed due to conditions such as a herniated disc, stenosis, or degeneration.
* Sciatica is a term used to describe nerve pain in the leg that is caused by irritation and/or compression of the sciatic nerve.
* Sciatica, also called lumbar radiculopathy, is mild to intense pain that radiates from the low back into the left or right leg.

* Treatment depends on severity:-
