Residents Present 12 Research Papers and Win Three Prizes at the Uttar Pradesh Urological Association Annual Conference

The hospital's delegation, led by Dr. Aditya P.S. Sengar, Vice-Chairman, Department of Urology and Head, Renal Transplantation, PUH, Lucknow, and Dr. Ravi Lohani, Head, Urethral Reconstructive Surgery Unit and Junior Consultant, Department of Urology, PUH, represented the institution with great distinction alongside three talented residents of the DrNB Urology programme.

The three DrNB Urology residents of Precision Urology Hospital — Dr. M. Amir, Dr. Kuldeep R., and Dr. Faizan — collectively presented 12 original research papers covering a wide spectrum of urological sub-specialties. The breadth and depth of the research presented reflected the hospital's robust academic environment and its unwavering commitment to evidence-based urological practice.
Dr. M. Amir presented four papers focusing on laparoscopic surgery innovations, including comparative analyses of resectoscope sizes in TURP, laparoscopic adrenalectomy for giant masses, novel salvage techniques for pelvi-ureteric junction obstruction in pelvic kidney, and a modified approach for ureteric stricture repair using ileal replacement — all drawn from PUH's rich institutional experience.
Dr. Kuldeep R. contributed four papers covering quality-of-life outcomes in endourology, laparoscopic donor nephrectomy using monopolar energy, trifecta outcomes in partial nephrectomy, and a rare case of bilateral pyelolithotomy in crossed fused kidney — a testimony to PUH's expertise in complex minimally invasive procedures.
Dr. Faizan presented four papers on prone ECIRS, laparoscopic ureteric reconstruction, mini-laparoscopy for paediatric anti-reflux surgery, and single-position transperitoneal nephroureterectomy — all representing pioneering techniques practised at PUH.
