It gives us immense pride to share the successful completion of PSYCON 2026 – National Conference on Technology’s Interface with Human Biology, organized by Nirvan Hospital – Institute of Mental Health & Allied Sciences.
This 2-day CRE conference, accredited by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), witnessed the participation of 150+ delegates from across the country, including psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical psychologists, psychology educators, and students of psychiatry and psychology. Participants contributed as speakers, chairpersons, moderators, delegates, and student delegates.
This conference holds special significance as it was the first national conference organized by Nirvan Hospital – Institute of Mental Health & Allied Sciences, marking an important milestone in our journey toward promoting mental health education and interdisciplinary dialogue.
The Inaugural Ceremony was graced by Shri Awanish Kumar Awasthi, IAS (Retd.), Principal Advisor to Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji, as the Chief Guest.
The Valedictory Ceremony was honoured by the presence of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Brajesh Pathak Ji, as the Chief Guest, along with Shri Jai Shankar Mishra Ji, IAS (Retd.), Hon’ble Chancellor, Gurugram University, as the Guest of Honour.
The conference theme, “Mind in the Machine – Psychology of the Tech-Bio Interface”, brought together eminent experts from across India to discuss the evolving relationship between technology, human biology, and mental health.
The distinguished faculty included stalwarts in psychiatry and psychology, with Prof. (Dr.) T. B. Singh, Former Head, Department of Clinical Psychology, IHBAS, delivering the keynote address.
