A weee bit lateee, but here we go :)

This Diwali was extra, extra special!
A few days before the festival of lights, we welcomed our little bundle of joy — our baby 💛

It’s been such a mix of emotions… sleepless nights, endless cuddles, and trying to keep up with the festive madness at the bakery. As a new mom and small business owner, it hasn’t been easy — but honestly, my heart is so full.

There’s been soo much love, chaos, and sweetness (both in the kitchen and at home). I’m learning to slow down, to find balance, and to give myself grace while still pouring my heart into what we’ve built.

This Diwali truly felt like the start of a beautiful new chapter — full of love, light, and a little baby magic ✨

There’s a bun in the oven…and for once, it’s not chocolate-filled ✨

Truth is — I’ve been nervous to share this but I’m now heading into my third trimester, I’ve been pregnant since February…and all this while it’s been really hard for me to not share thisss, but honestly I’ve been a little scared.

My business has always been my first baby, and I’ve worried (probably more than I should have) about whether people would still order, still believe in what I do, or even hesitate to reach out to me…Only because I’m having a child 🤍

But honestly your excitement, encouragement, and “when’s your maternity cake range launching?” DMs have made me laugh, cry (hormones, hello), and feel so loved.. All of this has given me soo much strength & encouragement and I’ve tirelessly been working every single day to overcome my fear and to gain the confidence to be able to do it all.

This new journey, is just another adventure, one that shapes me & helps me grow, to be able to balance things & my time

I hope I’m able to be THAT super awesome person who is able to manage it all, but for now I’m super excited for what lies ahead ✨

Jamun season is here, and so is the hustle.
Sourcing these deep purple berries is no easy feat — they stain everything, need to be handpicked, carefully cleaned, and meticulously deseeded. It’s messy, slow, and slightly chaotic.

But the result? A dessert that captures the tang, colour and unmistakable flavour of this monsoon fruit in every bite

A few years ago, Mumma & I visited a quiet little orchard tucked away in the hills of Pithoragarh —where the peaches were sun-kissed, the apricots warm off the tree, and time felt slower…

We still remember that trip like it was yesterday (swipe to see us soaking it all in 🍑). Since then, we’ve called for their fresh bounty every season—organic, straight from the same farm, and worked them into our cakes at our kitchen.

It’s become a little ritual, a reminder of where it all began. The best flavours come with a story!
