🔴 Giving Water to Babies Under 6 Months? STOP! 🚫💧

If your baby is less than 6 months old, this is something every parent MUST know 👇

👶 Important Fact:
A baby’s kidneys are not fully developed before 1 year of age
👉 Giving water too early can be harmful

❌ Why you should NOT give water before 6 months:

• Can cause water intoxication
• Dilutes sodium levels in the body ⚠️
• May lead to vomiting & seizures
• Can even affect the brain and kidneys

🍼 Then what should you give?

✔ Only breast milk or formula

👉 Why?
• Breast milk contains ~80% water 💧
• Provides complete nutrition + hydration
• Keeps your baby fully satisfied

💡 When can babies start drinking water?

• ✔ After 6 months (with solid foods)
• ✔ After 1 year → like normal water intake

⚠️ Common Myth:
“It’s hot, give baby a few sips of water”

❌ WRONG! Even small amounts can be risky

📢 Important Message for Parents & Families
