Our Story starts in 1999, from the dream of Asir, a 12 year old school boy from the prestigious St.Francis' College, Lucknow. A dream of helping millions through Health care, Syed Asir's childhood dream did not become a reality so soon. Striving hard to get a seat through AI-PMT, he missed each time only by fraction of marks. Despite a meritorious educational background and the right aptitude and motivation to become a doctor, Asir's dream of becoming a doctor could not manifest for almost 3 years. The private college seats in India were extremely expensive and often very low in quality of education, but due to huge demand for Doctors, most students put their lifetime fortunes into their medical studies.
The Decision: Asir never wanted to go the way of private colleges, & started looking for opportunities abroad, until he came across, Universities Of Perpetual Help, Philippines. He, along with his brother, chose to go to Philippines to pursue their medical studies. Philippines being the medical recruit house for the U.S., has a highly updated and equipped medical education system.
After MBBS: Asir completed his MBBS studies from Philippines & was awarded merits across the course. After coming back to India, he cleared MCI exam (an Indian Exam for validation of foreign MBBS course) in the first attempt and till now has worked with Institution like Max Healthcare, Fortis Hospitals and is currently the Medical Officer of India's foremost government hospital, Balrampur Hospital, Lucknow. Looking at the plight of talented Indian medical aspirants, he chose to guide India's youth in pursuing quality medical education abroad, & taking care of them. He brought a team of experts from the fields of Government Service, Journalism and Social Service together to establish, STUDY ACROSS - a consultancy that helps students pursue MBBS across 7+ countries, working on a model that not only sends students across but also makes sure of their well-being in those countries making Study Across - India's 1st holistic care educational consultancy.
