Stillness is essential for healing nervous system dysregulation, a root cause often manifesting as anxiety, digestive problems, hormone imbalances, fatigue and brain fog-symptoms that signal an overwhelmed autonomic system struggling to restore balance amid constant stress and overstimulation.
By prioritizing restorative pauses (stillness), we allow the parasympathetic nervous system to activate, promoting recovery and resilience at a cellular level.
Somatic practices (mind body exercise ) like breath-work, grounding and tools like journaling and vagal nerve stimulation are needed.
