Every year on 8th September World Physical Therapy Day is celebrated to raise awareness about the important role of physiotherapists in keeping people fit and well. On this day, the contribution of physiotherapists in society and how they motivate people to stay fit and independent.
In 1996, the World Confederation of Physical Therapy (WCPT) now known as World Physiotherapy designated 8th September as World PT Day. This is the date World Physiotherapy was founded in 1951. The day marks the unity and solidarity of the global physiotherapy community.

Frozen shoulder:-

Also known as adhesive capsulitis, is a condition characterized by stiffness and pain in your shoulder joint. Signs and symptoms typically begin gradually, worsen over time and then resolve, usually within one to three years.

Diabetics:-
There is a high incidence of adhesive capsulitis in diabetic patients (prevalence is as high as 10 to 22 percent of individuals with diabetes mellitus versus as 2 to 4 percent of the general population). These patients generally do not respond well to treatment, as well as non diabetic patients do.

Characteristics:-
Disturbed Sleep
Sharp pain at extremes of motion
Global loss of active and passive ROM
Pain at end-range in all directions

• Neck and back pain caused by problems in the muscles and skeleton

• Problems in the bones, joints, muscles and ligaments, such as arthritis and the after-effects of amputation

• Lung problems such as asthma

• Disability as a result of heart problems

• Pelvic issues, such as bladder and bowel problems related to childbirth

• Loss of mobility because of trauma to the brain or spine, or due to diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis

• Fatigue, pain, swelling, stiffness and loss of muscle strength, for example during cancer treatment, or palliative care
