हाइपरटेंशन अर्थात ब्लड प्रेशर ज्यादा रहने वाले मरीज अगर समय पर सभी जरूरी जांच करवाते हैं,लगातार और समय पर अपने फैमिली डाक्टर की सलाह से दवाई खाते हैं तो भविष्य में वो कई प्रकार की भयानक बीमारियों से बच सकते हैं।
इन बीमारियों (complications)में प्रमुख हैं - किडनी संबंधी रोग,हृदय संबंधी रोग, आंखों के रोग, लकवा इत्यादि, इनसे बचाव के लिए समय समय पर अपना चेक अप करवाते रहें।
