As the US celebrates Martin Luther Day, the champion of the Civil Rights Movement of 1960s' we also take pride in living by the ideals he set forth and by which he died. He was inspired by Mahatma Gandhi and unfortunately died like him to an assassin's bullet. Today, then ever before, the world - especially diverse and pluralistic societies like India - need to be agile on how the Indian democracy and society is shaping-up or rather shaping-out. From narrowing of an idea called India, to uncalled for laws, to intolerance, to the gradual destruction of the institution - the Indian civil society is being shaken to its very roots without much disdain.

So let's get together to study the life and times of great leaders like Martin Luther who gave vision, idea and hope to peaceful coexistence without differentiation of religion, caste, color, creed or nationalities.
