This is the story of a young boy..whose parents were uprooted from Pakistan during partition..they were provided one room house by Indian Govt in a small town..He used to study under street lights..as the room was one and inhabitants many
A topper in MBBS..a Gold Medalist in PGI in Psychiatry has much higher aspirations in life
Adversities could not deter this boy's strong determination..he lost his mother..when he was only 22..His mother's intense suffering due to malignancy made him more empathetic and compassionate towards his patients.This boy from a very humble background became the renowned Psychiatrist Dr Rajeev Gupta His aim was to spread awareness about psychiatric problems..which were more or less stigma in those times
His goal was to make a Hospital exclusively for people suffering from problems related to mind..with the best possible facilities to them and their attendants
His dream to bring Mental Health care to dignity and true understanding come true..in form of Manas Hospital in Ludhiana in November 2018
As destined he could not see his dreams to expand ,grow and flourish ..In June 2022 he left all of us..his work..his Hospital..for a higher journey..to enter eternal peace, after a long suffering from Malignancy
His work..his goal..his wishes are now being carried forward with strong passion..untiring efforts by both his Sons Dr ANSHUL MAHAJAN and Dr AKSH*T MAHAJAN..Thanx to all those who have shown their confidence in us and guiding us at each step
Today we complete 7years of healing mind,seven years of restoring hope,seven years of standing besides the families when they needed it the most
