From catheter-dependent to catheter-free — in just 2 weeks 🎯
A 72-year-old male, high surgical risk (post intracranial flow-diverter), with 8 months of catheter dependency due to Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), underwent successful Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE).
• Right PA: Type III from internal iliac artery (rare)
• Left PA : Type I from common vesical trunk
Clinical outcome @ 2 weeks:
✅ Catheter independent
✅ Spontaneous self-voiding
✅ Prostate volume reduced 70 cc → 45 cc
🔹PAE as a safe, effective, minimally invasive solution for BPH, especially in high-risk surgical patients.

Precision over diversion in a precious ICA 🧠

A young male with a large fusisaccular PCOM aneurysm arising from a precious ICA, rendered critical due to a dominant ACA and basilar contribution via a persistent trigeminal artery, was treated endovascularly.

Given the dominant ACA origin, a flow diverter was avoided due to the high risk of branch jailing and ischemia.
Instead, LEO braided stent–assisted coiling was performed, achieving precise stent landing, optimal neck reconstruction, and complete aneurysm occlusion, while preserving all vital vessels.
