Digestion is a process which converts food into energy. It’s starts from mouth and ends at large intestine after which the waste is expelled through a**s If we don’t chew the food we eat properly, the food does not enter the oesophagus as ‘chyme’( well digested food particals mixed with saliva ) , so the digestion does not occur properly. Insulin is the hormone secreted from pancreas which sends glucose inside the cells , when more amount of glucose enters digestive tract due to improper chewing glucose stays in blood as sugar and not converted into energy, This is how diabetes mellitus occur .
