Incident took place at site around 5 pm. Electrician Mr. Prakash Samal & Mr. Nitesh Pawar were replacing the contactor of 25 KVAR capacitor bank. During placing the fuse in panel, fuse burned out and a bright light flashed across Prakash's eyes and started to emit sparks of electricity. Mr. Prakash's face, eyes, and hand got burnt. He got electrical shock & fallen down from ladder of 3 feet.
He immediately rushed to Metro Hospital Thane and then shifted to Jupiter hospital as suggested by Metro hospital. As it's a case of burning so Jupiter hospital suggested to hospitalize him in Burn Research Centre Airoli.
Doctor has started necessary treatment and kept him in ICU.
Eye specialist will be called for necessary check ups for better treatment at hospital.
