Failure of any contraceptive like iPill( progestins) can cause Ectopic pregnancy.
if any contraceptive method fails, the resulting pregnancy has a higher likelihood of being ectopic compared to a pregnancy that occurs without contraception.

This is because some methods, like intrauterine devices (IUDs) and certain progestin-only methods, can make it more difficult for the fertilized egg to implant in the uterus, thus increasing the chances it implants elsewhere, like the fallopian tubes.

Feeling truly honoured to have been invited as a panelist at the 1st World Congress on Eustachian Tube Research and Interventions, held in Dubai from April 11–13, 2025.

It was a privilege to be part of this landmark event, engaging in rich discussions and stimulating brainstorming sessions with some of the world’s leading minds in the field. The exchange of evolving ideas and techniques was incredibly inspiring.

I’ve always believed that this specific area of medical science—Eustachian tube function and intervention—plays a pivotal role in ear health and profoundly influences how we approach ear surgeries. The congress further reinforced that belief.

It was also a proud moment to represent Northeast India, where I had the opportunity to introduce Balloon Eustachian Tuboplasty—a step that has opened up new possibilities for patient care in the region.

Grateful for the journey, the learning, the collaborations—and most of all, the patients who continue to teach us every day.

What an incredibly fulfilling day it was at the ENT Surgical Workshop hosted by Guwahati Ear and Sinus Center at Sanjivani Hospital! I am truly overwhelmed and thankful to all the amazing individuals who graced us with their presence on the 23rd of July. Your unwavering support, both in person and online, played a pivotal role in making this event a grand success! 🙏

Witnessing the skill and dedication of the esteemed surgical faculty, Dr. Gautam Khaund and Dr. Biswajit Gogoi, as they performed Stapes Surgery for Otosclerosis and Endoscopic Septoplasty with FESS respectively, was nothing short of inspiring. Moreover, I had the privilege to perform MRM with Facial Nerve Decompression, and I am humbled by the opportunity to share my knowledge with such a passionate audience.

A heartfelt salute to Dr Arup Kakati, Dr Rohan Malla Baruah and Dr Hemanta Deka for their engaging scientific presentations.

Me, Rohan Malla Baruah and the entire team at Guwahati Ear and Sinus Center feel privileged to have been able to orchestrate an event that not only showcased intricate surgical procedures but also fostered a sense of camaraderie within our medical community. Dear friends, patients, and well-wishers,

I am overwhelmed with gratitude as I reflect upon the incredible journey of the past year since I opened my ENT clinic "GUWAHATI EAR and SINUS CENTER" in association with CHIKITSA CLINIC, Adabari. Your unwavering support, trust, and encouragement have been the driving force behind my work, and I can't thank you enough!

To mark this special occasion and give back to the community that has embraced me so warmly, I am thrilled to announce that on the 16th of July we will be conducting a free camp for Ear Nose and Throat diseases at Chikitsa Clinic and on the 23rd of July, we will be performing 4 ear surgeries free of cost for deserving patients. It is my humble way of expressing my gratitude and commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

It has been an honor and privilege to serve each and every one of you, helping you regain your health and improve your quality of life. The relationships I have built with all my patients have been truly invaluable, and I cherish every moment spent in your care.
