Men can get breast cancer too.

Here’s the truth 👇

All cells in our body, including cancer cells, use glucose (sugar) for energy. But that doesn’t mean eating sugar “feeds” cancer in a way that directly causes it. Your body regulates blood sugar whether you eat sweets or not.
What actually increases cancer risk over time is:
• Obesity
• Chronic inflammation
• Insulin resistance
• Excess processed food consumption
• Sedentary lifestyle
Diets very high in added sugars can contribute to weight gain and metabolic issues — and those factors are linked to higher cancer risk.
So the key isn’t fear — it’s moderation.
Balanced diet, regular exercise, and maintaining a healthy weight matter much more than eliminating sugar completely.

The most fulfilling part of being in a cancer care team is moments like these ❤️
Patients I operated on 2–3 years ago remembered that it’s my daughter’s birthday today. One of them even called her by name to wish her personally.
It was such a touching reminder of how deeply human our work truly is. Beyond surgeries, treatments, and follow-ups, it’s the relationships and trust that stay with us.
My daughter is blessed, and so am I — to be trusted and remembered by such kind souls.
Thank you to each one of you as well for the love on my previous post. Feeling truly grateful today 🙏✨
