Sharada Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital has, for several years now, been conducting at least two health awareness programs and free health check-up and treatment camps every month in the Thalapady region with the aim of improving public health.
As part of the National Ayurveda Day celebrations being held on Tuesday, the 23rd of this month, the following programs have been organized:
Dinacharya (Daily Regimen) Campaign – Today, while life expectancy has increased in society, there is a clear decline in the quality of health. If we trace the root of this harmful trend, we realize that most diseases prevalent in society are related to our lifestyle. In this context, Sharada Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital has launched the Dinacharya campaign. This campaign will guide the public on adopting an Ayurvedic lifestyle and preventive measures to protect themselves from diseases. Awareness will be created through demonstrations and short skits. This campaign has already begun and will continue until National Ayurveda Day in 2026. Any public group or institution wishing to conduct this program may avail of it entirely free of cost through our institution.
Felicitation of Dedicated Physicians – In recognition of their distinguished service in Ayurvedic healthcare, two eminent doctors will be honored:
Dr. Shivakumar, Head of Hithayu Chikitsa Kendra
Dr. Soumyashree, from Sasyasanjeevini Ayurvedic Treatment Center and Hospital
The felicitation will take place on Tuesday, the 23rd.
Special Marma Chikitsa (vital therapy) training camp – This will be conducted to enhance the skills of Ayurveda medical students.
CPR Training – Life-saving training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation, crucial in cases of heart attack and other emergencies, is being conducted free of cost for the general public.
Among the above, the Dinacharya Campaign and CPR Training are specifically aimed at public welfare. Institutions or organizations interested in organizing these programs may contact us at: 7022485788 / 8971153232.
