Winter Clothing For Kids
Part-2
Layering

Keeping your child warm in winter doesn’t mean bulky clothes — it means proper layering! ❄️🧥
Here’s the safest and most effective way to keep babies, toddlers, and kids warm:
🧡 1. Base Layer
Soft cotton or breathable thermals that keep the skin dry and comfortable.
💛 2. Mid Layer
A warm fleece jacket or wool sweater that traps heat and adds insulation.
💙 3. Outer Layer
A windproof or padded jacket to protect against cold wind and low temperatures.
✨ Parent Tip: If your child’s neck feels sweaty or too warm, remove one layer. Layering should keep them warm, not overheated.

Winter Clothing for Kids

WINTER IS NOT ABOUT THICKER SWEATERS… IT’S ABOUT SAFER SWEATERS! ❄️
Most parents unknowingly choose:
❌ Roadside acrylic = itching + allergy + overheating
❌ Sparkling fibre sweaters = irritation
✔ Soft fleece + cotton layers = warm, safe child
✔ Wool = best for real cold

As a pediatrician, I see so many winter rashes and cough cases—
80% are because of wrong winter clothes.

✨ WINTER SKIN CARE — PART 3
Choosing the Right Moisturizer for Your Child ❄️🧴

Winter means cute sweaters… but also dry skin, itchy patches, and rough cheeks in many children. Most parents keep trying new creams without knowing what actually suits their child’s skin type.

In today’s post, I explain how to choose the right moisturizer based on:
✔️ Your child’s skin type (normal / dry / very dry / atopic)
✔️ Importance of pH 5.5
✔️ Difference between lotion, cream & balm
✔️ How ingredients like ceramides, shea butter & glycerin protect the child’s skin
✔️ The biggest winter mistakes parents make ❌

Remember:
🌟 Healthy skin = Happy child
🌟 Consistency is more important than the brand
🌟 Winter skincare is about barrier protection, not fairness or colour change
