Visit Report:-
1. Visit to government ayurved hospital
The visit to Kherva government ayurvedic hospital provided valuable exposure to academic and practical aspects of Ayurvedic learning.
Students were oriented about the institutional facilities, supports clinical learning and innovation.
2. Visit to Herbal Garden:-
The Herbal Garden visit offered hands-on learning about medicinal plants used in Ayurveda.
Key takeaways:
• Identification of commonly used herbs.
• Understanding their botanical characteristics.
• Learning therapeutic uses of each plant according to Ayurvedic principles.
• Observation of cultivation and maintenance techniques to preserve potency.
This exposure strengthened practical knowledge of Dravya Guna Vigyan.
3. Visit ausadhi distribution
Important learning points:
• Step-wise preparation process of different dosage forms like Churna, Vati, Ghrit, Taila, Kashaya etc.
4. Observation of Practical Panchakarma Procedures:-
Students were given an opportunity to observe live Panchakarma:
• Basti and agnikarma procedure
• Understanding the indications, contraindications, and patient preparation protocols.
• Observing therapist techniques and equipment usage.
• Recognizing post-procedure care and follow-up guidelines.
This practical exposure improved confidence in clinical Panchakarma skills
5. Session at Incubation Centre – “How to Innovate in Ayurveda”
A guided session was conducted at the Incubation Centre, focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of Ayurveda.
Topics explained:
• Concept of innovation and how to identify real-world problems.
• Steps to develop an idea into a workable solution.
• Designing prototypes for Ayurvedic tools, diagnostic models, or wellness products.
• Basics of start-up culture, funding pathways, and research validation.
• Encouraging students to think creatively and develop solutions beneficial
