Dr. Swapna Misra is a certified International Robotic Gynaecological Surgeon and is well versed in dealing with all gynaecology and gynaecological cancer surgeries robotically. Dr Misra was the first female doctor to perform landmark robotic surgery in this region using the iconic Da Vinci Surgical System, making it the first in Punjab. She believes that medicine is a field which requires dedication and perseverance.

She has received training in advanced gynecology cancer laparoscopic surgery, from IRCAD in Taiwan. She is also trained in handling all gynaecological and laparoscopic procedures such as gynaecological cancers, Laparoscopic Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy (LAVH), Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgeries (SILS), huge fibroids, all kinds of laparoscopic myomectomy, uterus reconstruction surgeries and laparoscopic prolapse surgeries.

Dr Misra is trained in high risk Obstetrics, normal deliveries, LSCS, painless deliveries and complicated deliveries. She is well trained in fetal medicine. She is a certified trainer for water birthing and pain free labor.
