“Cold Hands, Tingling, Exhausted All the Time… Am I the Only One?”
If your reports are “normal” but your body feels cold, weak, or numb, Ayurveda doesn’t dismiss it.
It names it.
This pattern is most often linked to Vata imbalance.
Vata governs movement in the body—
nerve impulses, circulation at the micro level, energy flow, and temperature regulation.
When Vata is aggravated, the body may feel:
Cold hands and feet
Tingling or numbness
Low stamina and easy fatigue
A sense of feeling “older” before your time
This isn’t disease.
It’s early imbalance—and that’s the best time to intervene.
Simple Ayurvedic Tips That Actually Help
These are not quick fixes. They are signals of safety to the nervous system.
1. Warmth is medicine
Prefer warm food, warm drinks, warm showers
Keep feet, neck, and lower back covered
Avoid cold smoothies and iced water
2. Eat for stability, not stimulation
Regular meal times (don’t skip meals)
Add healthy fats: ghee, olive oil, sesame oil
Choose cooked vegetables over raw
3. Calm the nervous system daily
10–15 minutes of quiet time (no phone)
Gentle walking or slow stretching
Early bedtime whenever possible
4. Oil the nerves
Sesame oil massage to hands, feet, and spine
Even 5 minutes before bed makes a difference
5. Herbs

(Always personalise—more is not better.)
In Ayurveda, we don’t wait for lab numbers to worsen before we listen.
Symptoms are the body’s early language.
If this resonates, your body isn’t failing you.
It’s asking for rhythm, warmth, and care.
