My work demands peak brain function and mood regulation. In addition to spending hours in client sessions, there’s a lot of studying, research work, business task, and an entire personal life.

These supplements look like a lot, but they have a great impact on the quality of my work and ensure I have energy and bandwidth to live my life at the end of the day (well, most days! I have started cherishing my quiet time more now).

These supplements are excellent for entrepreneurs, people in high performance jobs or in professions like nutritionists, doctors, lawyers, etc who need to be at their best at all times simply because what’s at stake.

PS - although not new, these supplements with focus on brain function are not something everyone fully understands. So don’t just consult your GP, speak to a nutritionist who understands these properly. (You can connect with me if you’d like too).

Low effort, quick, delicious and of course, nutritionally balanced, this meal is my go to high protein low carb meal.

Recipe:
Lentil Pasta, any shape works (you can also use other bean based pastas like pea, edamame, etc, just make sure it does not hav corn flour, rice flour or maida)

Veggies of choice - I’ve put bell peppers, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and onions

Flavour makers - sundried tomatoes, basil, fresh grated tomato, garlic, olives, capers, chilli flakes, pepper

Cooking medium - Extra virgin olive oil and butter

In a cold pan, add olive oil, butter, sliced garlic, chilli flakes, chopped olives. Switch the flame on, and cook this well on medium flame (never high flame with olive oil!). Now add in the diced onions, cook them well, add 1 grated tomato, cook well. Add the rest of vegetables and cook well. In a separate pan, roast diced mushrooms with a pinch of salt and very little butter. Once cooked well, keep them aside. In a pot, boil water, add salt and the raw pasta. Boil as per packet instructions to bring it to “al dente”. Add a few drops of olive oil just before draining, save the pasta water.

Final assembly, in the veggie mix, stir in the pasta, add 2-3 spoons of the pasta water, mushrooms, lots of basil (I put 1 fistful per person), crushed pepper and salt. Cook for little 1-2 minutes and done!

This recipe is easy, but I would urge you to follow the little tips I’ve mentioned, like the cold pan, etc. These are to ensure maximum health, least harm.

Real solutions start with identifying the root cause. Most people end “managing symptoms” instead of fixing the problem.

Leaky gut in my experience is the root cause for almost everything inflammation. Allergies, migraines, asthma, autoimmune conditions, so many of these start with a leaky gut.

Fix the leaky gut, and we’ve got a more long term fix.
