🔹 Surgical gloves can carry up to 30–50% microbial transfer risk if removed incorrectly.
🔹 Touching the contaminated surface while removing gloves can transmit pathogens like Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas.
🔹 Even after removing gloves, residual contamination can persist if hand hygiene is skipped — hence, always follow with handwashing or sanitizer.
