It is a myth that a lump in your breast means it is cancerous. It is rare for breast lumps to turn out to be cancer. That does not mean one should ignore it. Persistent lumps in your breast or changes in breast tissue, should never be ignored. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. WHO recommends yearly mammograms for women above 40.
Remedi wishes to debunk myths and provide clarity to people going through cancer. Cancer if caught early is almost always curable. Let us spread breast cancer awareness this month and make sure the women in our families go for their annual checkups.
