A little heart-to-heart 💌
Haven’t been active here in the last 2 months and thought, why not share some snippets from that time?
But first, what even happened?
I just wasn’t feeling inspired to create anything. It’s not unusual for me, but this time the phase lasted for 2 whole months.
When that happens, I usually go into a cocoon to recharge, reevaluate, realign.
During this time, I was deeply working on myself and integrating a lot of inner shifts... all while moving my body and falling in love with tennis.😅
So, I recharged and by now, I know what helps me do that.
And here’s what I leaned into:
✨ Stuck to my workouts (even on the hard days)
✨ Spent time with animals (yep, the fam got bigger!)
✨ Ate good food
✨ Hung out with close ones
✨ Watched one of the best tennis matches (sports girlie now, officially 😌)
✨ Played a LOT (tennis, badminton, board games, etc.)
✨ Took myself out on solo dates (drives, movies, coffees and more)
Here’s the biggest lesson:
If I had slowed down and made space for these regularly, maybe the burnout and dip wouldn’t have hit as hard.
I uncovered a core pattern: I tend to go all in till I burn out, and only then do I focus on rest and recharge.
Been playing this loop most of my life.
These past 2 months were slow… but they taught me this:
I don’t need to sprint and then collapse.
I can pause, play, rest, and move, all in smaller, sustainable ways.
If you’re in a dip right now, just know:
Flow returns.
Ride the wave.
Come back to basics.
One day at a time. 💜
