This email is all the explanation we got from Indiegogo an hour ago telling us that they removed our campaign. After many months of planning, two months of arduous campaigning by our team and countless emails to the Indiegogo staff, this message is all we get instead of the $28,880 we legitimately raised.
We ran a good campaign and got the support of over 425 people from different countries, mainly Mexico, the US and India. If you contributed to the campaign and are seeing this we are asking for your help, please share this post, tag Indiegogo and Grim Reaper INC. and write an email to support@indiegogo.com asking them to overturn their decision and give us the money we raised for Grim Reaper INC.
We ran a raffle, a moneypool and many events and with the help of many people we were able to reach our goal. A lot of people share in this achievement and all we are asking if for fairness from Indiegogo in their decision. We wrote to them more than 20 emails that were unanswered over the course of these last few weeks since the campaign closed, and this email is all we got before they closed our accounts without notice and sent an email to our backers.
We want to thank everyone who supported the campaign and the team who helped us run it. We assure you that this is not over yet, regardless of what happens with the Indiegogo campaign we will finish the film however we can and make you proud that you were a part of this. We believe in our project and we will bring it to the finish line.
Indiegogo please give us, the team and our supporters an explanation and give us the funds we raise so that we can finish the film without further delay.
