Tips to eat out :

1) Try to have a bowl of salad ๐Ÿฅ— or fruit like apple or papaya before going out.

2) Have a glass of chia seeds of water to avoid overeating.

3) choose whole grains (like quinoa / brown rice biryani / oats idli / tawa rotis ) rather then refined items like Naan / pizza / bhaturas.

4) If going out in day time , then outing options are tandoori roti with mix veg / pav bhaji / hakka noddles with manchurian / biryani with curd / palak paneer with tawa roti / idli with sambhar

5) if going out in dinner time then options are Tandoori soya chaap / paneer tikka / chilli paneer / chilli Manchurian/ chilli mushroom / pav bhaji / chicken tikka / grilled fish.

6) Choose water rather then colas / mocktail / juices / hard drinks to avoid extra calories.

7) Choose baked / grilled/ steamed /tandoori options rather than fried and oily stuff.

But it is an empty calorie food. Has no vitamins, fibre or minerals.
It is full of chemicals, preservatives and excess salts. Hence , i would ask you to limit your maggie to once a month or a lesser frequency. Eat fresh , eat local and eat healthy ๐Ÿ˜‹

Don't judge me. I always enjoy my Indian wedding party meal to the fullest.๐Ÿ˜Š
- Scan the party buffet . If there are 8 items you like, short list to 5 and then finally select 3 winners who will make it to your plate and stomach today.

Eat one of these items before leaving for the function, this will ensure you donโ€™t go overboard with the feast there.

# Any seasonal fruits
# 1 bowl salad

Options in Starter for you- Tikka -paneer and chicken, baby corn, mushroom, Steamed dhoklas, steamed momos, idlis. (Choose any 2 options)

Main course- Missi roti with mix veg and raita, non veg can have - roasted , tandoori or grilled chicken or fish + salad / tandoori roti + mix veg + salad / hakka noddles with Manchurian

Dessert- Rasgulla (squeeze it) /halwa / Vermicelli kheer /fruit custard after 30 mins of main meal.

Portion size- Fill your stomach 80% not 100%

After party at home had warm water or you can have green tea or ajwain water.

Rajma cutlets : Healthy breakfast for kids

High in protein , vitamins and minerals..

Saok and boil 1 cup of rajma , add 1 boiled potato and 1/2 cup of roasted and grinded oats. Mix them together with spices of your choice , add rock salt and black pepper, make tikkis and dry roast them on a tawa. Once done relish with home made Corriander mint chutney.
