Seeing mysterious flashes, like lightning streaks or camera flashes, can be startling! While some might be ocular migraines (hello, zigzag lines! , sudden, frequent flashes, especially when they come with new floaters) need immediate attention.

These can signal a retinal tear or even a retinal detachment, which could lead to vision loss if not treated quickly. If you experience a "curtain" falling over your vision, that's an emergency!
