Clear vision is not limited to LASIK.

For patients with high spectacle numbers or thin corneas, ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) offers an advanced and refined alternative in vision correction. The procedure preserves the natural cornea, delivers sharp visual clarity, and is designed for long-term stability and safety.

A detailed clinical evaluation will determine whether ICL is the right solution for you.

Morning eyelid puffiness is common — and in most cases, it is temporary.
When you lie down, fluid redistributes and can collect in the delicate tissues around the eyes. Because eyelid skin is thin and highly vascular, even mild fluid retention becomes noticeable.
However, recurrent or pronounced puffiness may be influenced by:
• High salt intake
• Alcohol or dehydration
• Poor sleep
• Allergies and sinus congestion
• Age-related changes in skin elasticity and fat distribution
In some situations, persistent swelling can indicate underlying systemic concerns such as kidney, cardiac, or chronic sinus conditions — especially if it is one-sided, painful, associated with redness, vision changes, or swelling elsewhere in the body.
Key point:
If the puffiness improves as the day progresses, it is usually benign. If it persists, worsens, or is accompanied by other symptoms, it deserves evaluation.
Avoid self-diagnosing. A clinical examination helps differentiate simple fluid retention from inflammatory, allergic, or systemic causes.
For persistent or concerning symptoms, consult your ophthalmologist.

Dry eyes are not just a minor irritation. They are a sign of tear film instability and surface inflammation.

In today’s lifestyle—long screen hours, air conditioning, pollution, and reduced blinking—dry eye disease has become extremely common across all age groups.

Persistent redness, burning, watering, light sensitivity, or fluctuating vision should not be ignored. Early evaluation helps prevent chronic discomfort and protects the ocular surface.

If these symptoms feel familiar, a detailed dry eye assessment can help identify the cause and guide the right treatment.

Healthy tear film. Comfortable vision. Better quality of life.

Diabetes & Cataract: What Every Patient Should Know 👁️

In people with diabetes, cataracts tend to appear 10–15 years earlier due to the effect of high blood sugar on the eye’s natural lens. But cataract surgery in diabetic patients isn’t just about removing the cloudy lens.

Diabetes can slow healing, increase post-surgery inflammation, and affect final vision, especially if the retina is involved. That’s why detailed retinal evaluation and good sugar control before surgery are crucial.

When surgery is planned at the right time, with proper retinal assessment and controlled blood sugars, outcomes are safe and vision can be well preserved for the long term.

Because in diabetes, protecting the retina is as important as removing the cataract.
